Heidi’s 4th Gotcha Day

Gotcha Day is different for every family. I suppose Heidi’s Gotcha Day was technically the day she came home from the hospital after being born but we celebrate the day her adoption was finalized as her Gotcha Day. We do the same with Wyatt. We make their favorite meal for dinner and then have a “Gotcha Day” cake with candles. Wyatt picked out the cake for her this year, very fancy pink, her “fay-brit” he said. I think she liked it! 😉

Baby Elliot Visits

Our friends, Jackie and Brian visited with their baby, Elliot, recently! The kids loved her and promptly declared they wanted a baby. Heidi wants a baby sister and Wyatt wants a baby brother. I think they may have to settle for having each other.

Oh, and Elliot?  Your Daddy is a Super Hero.  😉

Heidi’s 3-year-old Christmas Program

This was the cutest! Heidi made this Rudolph hat with Catherine and insisted on wearing it for her Christmas program. It really came in handy for the song, "Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer. Instead of touching her own nose when the song mentioned Rudolph's nose, she touched Rudolph's nose on her hat!
