Heidi: How do you get a baby?
Me: How do I get a baby or how does any mommy get a baby? 
Heidi: Any mommy.
Me: When you get married and decide you want to have a family, there’s a special thing the mommy and daddy do to make a baby grow in the mommy’s tummy.
Heidi: What is it?
Me: I’ll tell you when you’re older, like 11 or 12.
Heidi: Well, what ingredients do you use to make a baby?
Me: Some ingredients from the mom and some from the dad. But not everyone can make a baby in their tummy. 
Heidi: Did you and Daddy want to grow a baby in your tummy? 
Me: Yes, and we tried to but couldn’t. That’s when we realized God wanted us to build our family through adoption. 
Heidi: So Sarah grew me in her Tummy and you adopted me? 
Me: Yes
Heidi: I really wish you’d tell me how to grow a baby.
Me: I will when you’re older.
