We started a new Valentine’s Day tradition last year. We have family over instead of going out. We decorate the house, light candles and dim the lights, cook a gourmet dinner and drink from fancy glasses. The kids, and the grown-ups, love it. Our 2nd annual Valentine’s celebration made it a very special night.
On the menu last night: dry rubbed, slow cooked baby back ribs with tomatillo sauce, broccoli sauteed in garlic and olive oil, Spanish rice, Mexican street corn, and homemade guacamole and chips. For desert: cupcakes from Cupcake and tiramisu!
