something to work on this weekend
As we are getting in the car for school this morning-Wyatt: “Boys go first, girls go last.”
Me: “No, ladies go first.”
Wyatt: “No, boys.”
Me: “Gentlemen let ladies go first; heathens do not.”
Wyatt: “I a heafen.”
Me: “No, ladies go first.”
Wyatt: “No, boys.”
Me: “Gentlemen let ladies go first; heathens do not.”
Wyatt: “I a heafen.”
Wyatt to Heidi: “Sissy, you’re my best girl in the whole wide world!”
My heart melts. So sweet.

Crying starts with the letter C
On Sunday nights at bedtime we talk about the kids’ letters of the week for school and what words start with their particular letters. Wyatt has F this week, Heidi has P. Tonight Wyatt was sad and crying because Mike left town for work and was participating in the letter discussion through tears. After we talked about a few words that begin with F he asked, “Mommy, what letter does crying start with?” Poor baby boy
