Brick by Brick

image

When I came home from work the other day this piece of brick was on the kitchen counter.  As I asked Catherine, our nanny, where it came from, Heidi piped up.  With her sternest voice and a scowl on her face, she said, “Tilly had that in her mouth!  She was eating my house!  I yelled at her, ‘Tilly, don’t eat my house!’ ”

With a smile I explained to Heidi that the piece of brick probably was leftover from when our house was built and Tilly just found in when she was digging, which I hate just as much as her eating the house.  😉

Heidi is not convinced and Tilly stands warned not to do it again.  (Dig or eat the house.)

Poor Tilly, did she have a chance to explain?!?!? May have been one of those precious (2 legged) children………. not that mine would have ever blamed the dog….. but just a thought. Hope y’all have a wonderful and blessed Easter. 🙂

Just to be on the “safe side” keep Tilly away from the Easter Bunny!!
